Resum
For centuries, human activity has been fundamentally rooted in the sharing of time and experiences with others. It is well established that humans have a natural inclination to respond to and create sound and music—a fact that becomes particularly evident in the presence of infants and young children. A substantial body of research has explored early musical interactions, with a particular focus on the musical practices and habits within families. In contemporary life, electronic devices have become embedded in the daily routines of young children, both at home and in educational settings. However, it remains essential to preserve opportunities for direct, face-to-face musical engagement. Studies have shown that musical interactions play a crucial role in fostering secure environments, supporting attachment, promoting well-being, and encouraging holistic child development. Based on an examination of these dynamics across various families, this work presents a collection of real-life examples intended to inspire both families and professionals to engage with children through music.
