The recent RDL 29/2020 has incorporated a new article 47 bis of TREBEP, which regulates teleworking in Public Administrations for the post-covid-19 era. The aims of this article is twofold: a) to briefly analyse the way telework is regulated in the said article 47 bis; and, b) to study the particularities that telework presents from the perspective of Social Security, especially in terms of Social Security contributions (the obligation to contribute to the compensation paid to teleworkers), benefits and occupational accidents.
