Resum

New cationic, [(Fp)Ph2PC≡CPPh2(Fp)2+ (1) and [(Fp)Ph2PC≡CPPh2]+ (2), and anionic, [Fe3(CO)9(μ3-CCH3)(Ph 2PC≡CPPh2)]- (3) and [{Fe3(CO)9μ3-CCH3)} 2(Ph2PC≡CPPh2)]2- (4), P-coordinate complexes with bis(diphenylphosphino)acetylene have been prepared. The zwitterionic P-coordinated iron complex [{Fe3(CO)9-CCH3)}Ph 2PC≡CPPh2(Fp)] (5) has been synthesized in two different ways and characterized by X-ray crystallography.
