Resum

© 2018 Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim Soluble platinum nanoparticles (Pt NPs) have been prepared by a two-step procedure involving the reduction of chloroplatinic acid with ethylene glycol/NaOH at 160 °C and subsequent treatment with a THF solution of a tris-imidazolium tetrafluoroborate at room temperature. The isolated Pt NPs have been characterized by transmission electron microscopy (TEM), high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM), electron diffraction (ED), Energy-Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy (EDS), and elemental analysis. They proved to be efficient and recoverable catalysts for the stereoselective hydrosilylation of internal alkynes in the presence and absence of solvent.
