Resum

Since the introduction of in vitro fertilization techniques, the incidence of ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome has markedly increased. The pathophysiology and management of this condition are controversial. We report the case of a patient with severe ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome that require ICU admission and treatment with low-dose dopamine to increase glomerular filtrate rate and renal blood flow, with good response within a few hours.
