Reggeon Field Theory phenomenology at collider energies

A complete phenomenological analysis of the applications of Critical Reggeon Field Theory at collider energies is presented. It includes total as well as different elastic cross sections, and the ratio real to imaginary part of the amplitude. Finite energy corrections have been taken into account to improve the agreement with the available SPS data. Predictions for the TEVATRON and future colliders at {Mathematical expression}, 10, 20, and 40 TeV are also presented. Some results concerning the perturbative version of Reggeon Field Theory are included. The general conclusion of the study is that SPS energies are still far from the truly asymptotic regime. © 1985 Springer-Verlag.
