    Resum

The aim of this paper is to present the results of an enipi-rical study based on a wide corpus of online available translations from Castilian, Catalan, Basque and Galician into Romanian belonging to different specialized areas of public services in Spain. Relying on the method of descriptive analysis, we have tried to answer the following questions: What are the institutions that produce these texts? What is the purpose they aim at? What are the areas of public services dealing with? What subjects do they address? What is the most used text type and format? And finally, what is the target group? In conclusion, it will be articulated that beyond Public Administration there is increasing evidence of new bodies that are offering this kind of translations such as universities and research groups, and the lack of legal translations, especially compared with other areas of public services, will be underlined.
