Resum

In this paper we conceptualize, analyze and propose actions related to disruptive behavior at the level of compulsory secondary education in the context of Catalonia. Such behaviors may prove maladaptive processes of students that need tackling, just as questions the teaching-learning process with consequences for students, teachers and the learning context. In this scenario we have analyzed the factors affecting the appearance of disruptive behaviors, the dimensions involved and the perception of teachers (N = 433) and students (N = 6453) from ad-hoc questionnaires and interviews. It used a mixed qualitative and quantitative methodological approach, interpretive descriptive ex -post- facto. From the analysis, which determines the perceptions of learners and teachers in relation to disruptive behavior, strategies and resources used, the need to develop a systemic approach to intervention regarding disruptive behavior is established through program which involved the community, schools, teachers, students and parents aimed at promoting resilient ability of students. Different levels of action are present, from the student to the school and the community, assuming mediation strategies to address disruptive behavior.
