Resum
In this paper we analyze the impact of social policies using a social stratification model defined multi-dimensionally. In particular we analyze, as a leading case, the impact of Argentina's Unemployed Heads of Household Plan according to social strata in order to show the possibility of applying this approach to other social policies. The data were taken from Permanent Household Survey. We selected the year 2003 because it was the one in which the employment plan reached the highest coverage, due to the major economic and social crisis initiated by the debt default of December 2001 and the currency devaluation of January 2002. The main result shows that this model can be used for analysis of redistributive social policies and specifically in the policy we use as an example, has had a high impact on the lower stratum (77.5%).
