Les traduccions de poesia en anglès de Llibres del Mall

The aim of this paper is to analyze the ten translations of poetry in English published in the collections Llibres del Mall and Poesia del Segle XX (in the latter case, during the phase of Edicions del Mall). This analysis is done taking into account mainly the authors, translators and writers of the prologues of the volumes and the peritexts included in them. Our conclusion is that, with these translations, Llibres-and Edicions-del Mall introduced texts which, for several reasons, fit perfectly into the Catalan scene of the seventies and eighties of the 20th century, so varied and rich in aesthetic, ideological and literary options.
