N2 - Ileocolic perianastomotic ulcers are a late-onset, uncommon, and probably underdiagnosed complication of ileocaecal resections. They tend to present with diarrhoea, malabsorptive syndrome and occult gastrointestinal bleeding which can lead to chronic iron deficiency anemia.
