    Resum

Renal vascular pathology includes the lesion of the renal vascular network. Lesion of the small-sized vessels is called microvascular disease which is different, to some extent, to lesion of the renal artery or principal branches called macrovascular nephropathy. The diagnosis of this process is very important due to the potential treatment of the disease. There are several non-invasive procedures to diagnose macrovascular nephropathy including: renal functionalism tests, renal perfusion tests and imaging techniques. Recently, angiomagnetic resonance has become a valuable and safe procedure for the detection and quantification of renal artery stenosis.
