Resum
A simple method is described which makes it possible to eliminate the retained eggs of Drosophila melanogaster and to harvest a large amount of embryos at a defined stage of development. It is based upon carbon dioxide anesthesia, which brings about the expulsion of eggs remaining in the uterus. © 1984 Birkhäuser Verlag.
