Resum
In this paper we analyse the evolution of the concept of nonfiction. Throughout the history of communication this concept has undergone many changes. To understand how it has evolved we begin with its initial meaning then apply it to three forms of narrative expression that are compared with the proposed analysis model: audiovisual, interactive and transmedia narrative forms. The methodology used is based on a set of categories established in relation to conceptual and commercial aspects of the narrative forms studied in this work. The results indicate that the differences between the three narrative forms are particularly relevant in terms of the conceptual aspects. The interactive and transmedia narrative forms in particular offer new ways of experimenting with narratives in the new media.
