Resum
More refined theories of sexual consent resolve confusions and contradictions about the role that consent plays in sexual relationships. However, they leave intact the issue of referring to what is sexual or how to conceive what is sexual. In this work, we defend sex from the concept of social practice in order to: 1) offer a notion of sexual practice that encompasses and operates in all cases in which "the sexual" is present; 2) evaluate which elements of consent should be integrated into a broad, generic, notion of what is sexual without incurring a conceptual reduction.
