El Islam poĺıtico y la movilización social tras las revueltas árabes. Un análisis desde la Socioloǵıa del poder

Political Islam did not occupy a prominent place in the Arab uprisings because had distanced itself from the social movements. However, it was well placed to compete in the post-uprisings context. This was because since the nineties has been subjected to a positive development for the ruling elites of the most influential groups. However, this does not mean that the Political Islam monopolize neither the power nor space linked to religion in the political spectrum. This article, from the theoretical perspective of Sociology of power, offers an analysis of the relationship between social movements, political and religious groups and regimes. This allows us to understand the dynamics of the riots and the post-riots.
