Resum
The author of this paper reports his involvement with Edicions el Mall. He explains the main aims of the publishing house and of some of its collections and also details some translation techniques used. Furthermore, the paper explains the managerial decisions concerning authors and translators and the link between the publishing house financial constraints and Catalan cultural policy.
