Resum
The main aim of this article is to show that the so-called «digital divide» (the cultural and social division between people that are able to use new technologies and those that can't) is not merely a technological problem about creating and mataining infraestructures, but also a cognitive problem. To establish digital literacy courses can not be limited to a mere instrumental learning on how to use a given operating system and a series of basic applications. It is also about cognitive strategies towards information processing, developing habits on how to filter information, and so on. The article devotes an important part of the text about e-learning processes, trying to find a more cognitive and multidisciplinary process when analysing those problems.
