Resum

A dynamical model is proposed to account for the SU3 octet component of the (originally singlet) pomeron in terms of the PfP triple vertex. Relations with other models are discussed. An accurate description of total hadron-nucleon cross-section data is obtained. © 1984, Società Italiana di Fisica. All rights reserved.
