Resum

The difficulties of performing a conventional hemodynamic study in patients with a mechanical prosthesis implanted in the tricuspid valve position make the Doppler method a useful, evaluative tool. However, the amount of available Doppler data in this field is scarce.1,2 We report Doppler echocardiographic findings in 16 patients with clinically normal-functioning mechanical prostheses in the tricuspid valve position. © 1991.
