Resum

Will the Impersonal tomorrow be the Salvation of Mankind? Before becoming one of the most important concept of philosophy and theology the concept of persona was first shaped by the classical Roman lawyers. Due to the influence of Panaetius and Cicero as well as the idea of Natural Law persona became to denominate in Roman law the human being regardless of class and status. The fact that a human being was considered a person conferred a claim to equality and freedom upon it and thereby assured a minimal protection. Roberto Esposito rejects the concept of person insofar as it stained by the law and propagates in lieu of it "impersonality" as a way to salvation. He reifies this idea in the shape of the "body" (corpo), which in his opinion is not tainted by the law. These ideas are refuted as being ahistorical and merely rhetorical.
