Resum
Chronic administration of mianserin induced an increase in the density of [3H]prazosin binding sites (23%) in membranes and in the maximal noradrenaline stimulation of phosphoinositide breakdown (81%) in slices from rat brain cortex. In contrast, a similar treatment with protryptiline did not induce any significant changes. These findings suggest that the effects of antidepressant drugs on rat braint cortical α1-adrenoceptors may depend on the characteristics of the drug used. © 1989.
