Resum

This work pretends to show how time perception in the same country (Chile) can change depending on the cultural context (urban/rural). In order to achieve this, it describes and analyzes different particularities from different rural areas of the country, in contrast with those of the capital city (Santiago de Chile), and how these have a clear and direct incidence in the way that the inhabitants of Chile deal and perceive time. The big climatic differences observed across the country, along with the profound or less technological impact are fundamental elements to explain this perceptive phenomenon.
