Resum

Experience of continual arterial perfusion in pediatric oncology is very slight. The authors use portable perfusion pumps. They describe 13 cases of tumour formation with long-term survival in 8 cases. In bilateral retinoblastoma, this method is of considerable value in saving the less seriously affected eye. It is also indicated in cases where surgery is not possible, in incomplete excision and in local recurrences, with or without radiotherapy.
