Resum
With the current economic crisis, and the massive use of Internet, the process of selection of an establishment of rural tourism is increasingly detailed, by what the potential tourists go in frequently in the webs of discount to inform and reserve the most suitable accommodation. However, we do not know with sufficient depth, which is the opinion of the owners and workers of these establishments. Thus, this work analyses the answers of this community to a survey realised in the Catalan Pyrenees, concluding that the majority thinks that is a half useful, that favours the advertising of the product, but that still are reluctants to employ massively this channel of collective purchase. This tendency can vary in the next years, especially if they go in the business the new generations, what will cause a greater development of the sector in the rural areas.
