N2 - This paper formulates a theoretical model for avoidance behaviour. Afterwards, a set of experiments, executed in the «Laboratori de Conducta(UAB)», about flooding (blocking of response) and its effects on emotional and avoidance response extinction are review. Finally, the avoidance analogical model for human ansious behaviour is critically revised.
