Resum

The cathedral architecture responded to specific uses that varied over the centuries. Among these functions, the liturgy is one of the most important. This article deals with the problems of interpretation of cathedral architecture from its use for liturgical purposes and of the timing of it: at different times, different uses, that supposed modifications in the architecture and its liturgical installations.
