The objectives are as follows: To determine the efficacy and safety of autologous PRP compared to placebo, standard treatment, and alternative treatments such as plasma poor in platelets, laser (common in plastic surgery) or biomaterials (e.g. acellular xenogeneic dermal matrix or Keratinocyte suspension; Appendix 1), for surgical wounds.
