Resum

Aquagenic syringeal acrokeratoderma is a rare entity characterized by the palmar maceration similar to that usually seen after a long exposition to water. Nevertheless, this condition is manifested after a short contact with water and it also resolves rapidly after drying the hands. Despite its unclear origin and variable histopathology, once it is known, it is easy to diagnose. The treatment is not standardized, although good responses with aluminium chloride hexahidrate have been reported.
