Àlbum de fotografies: Sarajevo, 1914 – Sarajevo, 1992

Historiograhic studies have expanded today with the oral sources of the victims and with the photos which document their suffering. The 20th century produced some dramatic imagines, but it would be a great simplification to reduce this period to the horrors of totalitarianism. The same precaution is necessary in the analysis of the conflicts which brought an end to the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. We must challenge the unequivocal meaning that the media want to stamp onto each photo and examine the proof from a critical distance.
