Relationship between European Union and the transition economies and the effects on the countries internal industrial structure

One of the most striking features of a growing economy is that it steadily changes its sectoral structure. Some industries expand while other industries disappear. In less developed countries the leading sector is agriculture, while industry dominates in more advanced economies. In most developed countries a major part of GDP is produced by the service sector. This specialization is correlated with internal division of tasks. Therefore it can be expected that Central European Countries along with the economic growth will experience schocking change of its structure. The proposed reserach attempts to decribe the mechanisms that induce the above phenomena.
