This dataset forms a comprehensive matrix for the systematic literature review titled "Systematic Review: Revisiting Challenge-Based Learning Teaching Practices in Higher Education." It meticulously details the included and excluded articles that was analyzed the implementation of Challenge-Based Learning (CBL) teaching practices within higher education contexts. The dataset comprises a total of 43 articles, with 20 papers meeting stringent inclusion criteria and 23 papers excluded based on specific parameters. This dataset is designed to serve as a detailed resource for scholars and practitioners, enabling them to grasp the extent of research on CBL in higher education and identify effective strategies for its implementation to enhance educational outcomes and develop key student competencies in problem-solving and entrepreneurial skills.
