Measurement of alpha-s from scaling violations in fragmentation functions in e+ e- annihilation

CERN-LEP. ALEPH Collaboration. Study of scaling violation in fragmentation functions in e+ e- annihilation at Z0 energies. Data is given for total, transverse and longitudinal distributions as well as for heavy flavour enhanced samples. A value for the strong coupling constant alpha_s is extracted from the data.
